Wherever I go,

Wherever I will be,

I will create art,

And when I am ninety years old,

My life will be a great tapestry of memory in colour.

Announcing my Adelaide solo exhibition to be held at The Main Gallery, 156 Halifax Street, Adelaide on September 9th 2022.

Slowly the paintings of the last three years are all sitting around me. Coming into the studio they start to live and breathe, each a web of stories, feelings and visibly a great network of energy. How blessed I am to spend my days halfway between earth and eternity. Each canvas a child, a friend, a challenge, a great love and teacher, a brief moment that takes me months to create.

QR for the soul- these works are a snapshot to seep deeply into consciousness, to bring memory, everyday life, decisions, and magic together.  Over time there is more to see, more to feel, more to discover; colour can take us in directions that make peace. Art can change lives.

Each colour is a complex mix of oil colours, methodically created intuitively using a palette knife. Each colour finds its place on the canvas instinctually with geometry and mathematics being the loving foundation. I see pictures in dreams and day visions, light flashes and meditation. The patterns of nature surround us in our environment, technology and the inner workings of the body and mind. These shapes and forms are bursting with meaning.

I look forward to seeing you at the Opening in September, the exhibition will run for three weeks, with the opening time and speaker to be announced.
